Hi, I’m Dr. Sarah Gaumer, a licensed clinical psychologist based in Florida. I specialize in psychological and neurodevelopmental evaluations, including autism assessments, ADHD evaluations, and neurocognitive testing. I’m passionate about creating a supportive, inclusive space where neurodivergent individuals feel seen, understood, and empowered. My goal is to help clients build on their strengths and navigate life’s challenges with confidence. My experience spans vocational rehabilitation assessments, veteran disability evaluations, forensic evaluations, residential and intensive outpatient psychotherapy, and neurobehavioral services, allowing me to provide care that is both thorough and compassionate.
I choose to work with neurodivergent clients because I believe everyone deserves access to care that truly meets their needs. I am inspired by the creativity, insight, and resilience that neurodivergent individuals bring to the world, and I feel honored to support clients in understanding themselves better and achieving their goals. My aim is to provide detailed evaluations and guidance that not only clarify strengths and challenges but also empowers clients to advocate for themselves in school, work, and everyday life.
I approach every case with care tailored to each individual’s unique needs, treating every client with the same respect, empathy, and attention that I would want for my own loved ones. I take a strengths-based, affirming approach, which includes listening closely, validating experiences, and collaborating on strategies that fit each person’s profile. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable exploring challenges, celebrating successes, and building confidence in their abilities.
