About
Hello! I’m Samantha Campbell, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in New Hampshire and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. I am based out of New Hampshire. I’m passionate about helping people better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and feel more confident in the way they move through the world. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and down to earth. I believe therapy works best when you have a space where you can show up as yourself, feel genuinely heard, and talk openly without fear of judgment. I strive to meet each person where they are, while helping them identify and recognize patterns, build on their strengths, and develop meaningful changes that fit their individual needs and goals. Above all, I want therapy to feel like a partnership, one where we can be curious together about what you’re experiencing and work toward a life that feels more manageable and authentic to you.
I was drawn to working with autistic and neurodivergent individuals because I have always been interested in understanding the different ways people experience, interpret, and navigate the world around them. Too often, neurodivergent individuals are expected to adapt themselves to environments, expectations, and relationships that were not designed with their needs in mind. I believe therapy should be a place where you do not have to mask, explain away your experiences, or work toward becoming someone you are not. Instead, I want to help clients better understand themselves, identify what genuinely works for them, and find ways to navigate challenges while honoring who they are. I especially value helping clients recognize patterns in their experiences, understand their needs, build on their existing strengths, and develop strategies that are realistic for their lives. My goal is for clients to leave therapy with a greater sense of self understanding, self acceptance, and confidence in advocating for what they need.
I approach therapy from the belief that there is no single “right” way to think, communicate, process emotions, or move through the world. I take time to understand each client as an individual, including their strengths, interests, values, experiences, and the strategies they have already developed to navigate their lives. Rather than focusing on changing traits simply because they differ from what is considered typical, I work collaboratively with clients to identify what is meaningful to them and what they would genuinely like to change or better understand. I believe validation and growth can exist together, we can acknowledge that something is difficult while also recognizing the strengths, resilience, and skills you already bring with you. My role is to help you build upon those strengths, develop strategies that work with rather than against the way your brain works, and create a life that feels sustainable, authentic, and meaningful to you.
