About
My name is Rosalva Guzman, LCSW but most people know me as Rosie. I consider myself a passionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have over 10 years of experience helping individuals transform their lives. I provides care for clients ages 8 to 90 and have built a reputation for empowering individuals to believe in themselves and embrace their full potential. I specializes in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Somatic Therapy. I have extensive experience supporting clients with Autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, Bipolar II, Borderline Personality Disorder, and Schizophrenia.
I have known since childhood that I wanted to help others. Helping others grow has been a natural part of who I am for as long as I can remember. I connect with people intuitively and quickly establish a sense of trust and understanding. My strength lies in creating a supportive, judgment-free environment where clients feel valued, understood, and empowered to grow into their fullest potential.
As a bilingual therapist, I am fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in both English and Spanish, allowing me to provide accessible, culturally responsive care to individuals from diverse backgrounds. I recognize that cultural beliefs and stigma surrounding mental health can sometimes make seeking support difficult. I am committed to creating a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel understood, respected, and empowered to prioritize their emotional well-being. My passion for helping others grow has been a part of who I am for as long as I can remember. Building genuine connections comes naturally to me, and I strive to ensure every client feels safe, seen, heard, and accepted. I believe meaningful growth begins when people feel understood and supported. My philosophy is simple: Every person deserves the opportunity to live their best life. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside individuals on their journeys toward healing, self-discovery, and empowerment. If you are ready to take the next step, I, Rosie, am here to support you along the way.
