Thank you for visiting my provider profile. My name is Robin Abraham, licensed psychologist with Prosper Heath. My primary responsibility is to provide specialized assessment for adults seeking diagnostic clarification about possible autism. My clinical experience and professional training have tailored a strong interest in neurodivergence and the diverse ways people communicate, learn, and navigate the world. I therefore understand that seeking an autism assessment as an adult can bring many questions, emotions, and uncertainty. That said, please be assured your experiences will be respected and understood without judgment.
My approach to your assessment will be strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming–taking into careful consideration your developmental history, sensory experiences, communication patterns, and ways you may have adapted to your environment. Other standardized assessment measures will also be used to help develop a complete picture of your experiences.
Upon my review of all findings we will meet again for a feedback session where I will explain your results in clear and understandable language. More specifically, we will discuss what the assessment results mean, how they relate to the concerns that lead you to request an autism assessment, and any other areas needing additional clarification. You will have an opportunity to ask questions and share your reactions at any point during this feedback session.
