Hello and welcome. My name is Rob Nuenke, and I currently live in Virginia. I am licensed in Virginia, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. I help my clients focus on the direction they are going rather than where they may find themselves at any moment. My clients describe me as an active listener, providing insight that helps them see things from a different perspective while allowing them to feel what they need to feel. My approach is collaborative and tailored. We will work together to create a plan that reflects what you are seeking from therapy and what will be most helpful for you.
Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating. Sometimes all we need is a listening, empathetic ear to help us work with our existing strengths. I prioritize a client-centered, conversational approach to empower clients to leverage their unique capabilities and talents to achieve their goals and realize their full potential.
I am motivated by a desire to help my clients understand who they are and be true to themselves without feeling the need to adapt to society. I want to help my clients advocate for themselves to have their needs met. I have three adult children who identify as neurodivergent, and throughout their childhood experiences, I felt that their educational support system let them down. I have made it my objective to assist autistic children and adults in identifying strengths, developing skills, and creating a safe environment in which each individual can thrive in their own way.
