About
Hi! I'm Rebecca, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in Colorado, and Illinois. I believe therapy works best when you don't feel like you're sitting across from an expert who's trying to "fix" you. Instead, I see therapy as a collaborative space where we get curious together about your experiences, relationships, and the patterns that have shaped your life.
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or exhausted from trying to make life work in ways that weren't designed for them. Whether you're exploring your neurodivergent identity, navigating relationships, or moving through a major life transition, my goal is to help you better understand yourself and build a life that feels authentic, connected, and sustainable.
I've always been fascinated by the way people think, connect, and experience the world. Over the years, that curiosity led me to working with autistic and neurodivergent adults because I saw how many people had spent years wondering, "Why does everything feel so much harder for me?"
You don't need to become someone else to thrive. Together, we'll get curious about how your brain works, identify the strengths you already have, and find strategies that actually fit your life. I want therapy to help you better understand yourself, trust yourself, and stop feeling like you're constantly trying to keep up with everyone else
My approach is collaborative, relationship-centered, and affirming. I believe you're the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you make sense of your experiences, recognize your strengths, and develop practical strategies that fit who you are rather than who you think you're supposed to be.
Working with fellow LGBTQ+ folks is one of the most meaningful parts of my work. Whether you're exploring identity, navigating relationships, or simply looking for a therapist who already "gets it," my goal is to provide a space where you can focus on yourself instead of explaining or defending who you are.
