Intro

Hi! My name is Rebeca and I am a licensed psychologist in the State of Florida. I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Florida and graduate training at Nova Southeastern University. I specialize in assessment and evaluations and have worked with many neurodivergent adults (ASD, ADHD, OCD, SLD, Gifted, etc.) over the years.

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My specialization in assessment and neurodivergence is not just professional; it's personal. Being neurodivergent myself and having neurodivergent kids, my own journey of self-discovery kicked off when I started seeing echoes of my traits in my children. This sparked a deep curiosity and a drive to learn more about the broad spectrum of neurodivergence, its varied manifestations, and its impact on individuals.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My approach is centered on an affirming and strengths-based perspective, aiming to help clients recognize their strengths and live more authentically. My goal is to leave clients feeling validated and equipped with the knowledge to advocate for themselves and embrace their neurodiversity as a part of their personal narrative.
