About

Hello and welcome—I’m really glad you’re here. My name is Raul Soto-Yulfo, and I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) licensed psychologist in Florida and PSYPACT credentialed, based in Miami. I’m deeply committed to supporting individuals through comprehensive psychological evaluations that promote clarity, understanding, and informed next steps. In my work, I focus on creating a space that feels respectful, collaborative, and thorough, where you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences. My approach to evaluations is thoughtful and individualized, with the goal of providing accurate, meaningful insights that help guide personal, vocational, academic, or clinical decisions. I recognize that each person’s experience is unique, and I am committed to delivering evaluations that reflect your individual strengths, needs, and circumstances with care and precision.

Education & Licensure
PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Carlos Albizu University, Miami, FL; Master in Psychology from Carlos Albizu University, Miami, FL; Bachelors in Education from the Inter American University, Aguadilla, PR.
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My interest in specializing in autistic/neurodivergent evaluations, particularly with adults, comes from a deep respect for the uniqueness of how individuals think and experience the world. I have seen how often neurodivergent individuals are misunderstood, impacting their sense of self and access to support. Through assessment, I aim to bring clarity to those experiences while ensuring each person feels truly understood and, most importantly, supported. I am committed to providing thoughtful evaluations that highlight strengths and offer meaningful guidance for next steps.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I bring an affirming and strengths-based approach to my work by focusing on understanding each individual’s unique profile, highlighting abilities and patterns that may have gone unrecognized. I view assessment as an opportunity not just to identify challenges, but to clarify strengths and provide a more complete, balanced understanding of the person.Throughout the process, I prioritize creating an environment where individuals feel respected, heard, and supported. I approach each evaluation with curiosity, care, and cultural humility, being mindful of how background, identity, and lived experience shape each person’s story. I am committed to working with diverse populations in a way that is thoughtful and affirming. My goal is for each person to leave with a clearer sense of themselves and greater confidence in their potential, with results that reflect both their strengths and areas for growth in a meaningful, balanced way.
