About

Hello and welcome—I’m really glad you’re here. My name is Ral Etolue, and I’m a licensed therapist based in Connecticut with over a decade of experience supporting individuals through life’s complexities. What drives me in this work is a genuine passion for helping people feel seen, understood, and supported in meaningful ways. I believe therapy should be a space where you don’t have to filter yourself—a place grounded in compassion, respect, and real connection. Over the years, I’ve learned that when people feel truly heard, they’re better able to access their own resilience and move toward the kind of growth they’re seeking. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based. I see my role as a partner in your journey—someone who walks alongside you as you navigate challenges, deepen your self-understanding, and build on the strengths you already carry. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all care; your experiences, values, and goals matter, and I tailor my work to reflect that.Whether you’re seeking clarity, healing, or simply a space to process and grow, I’m here to support you in a way that feels thoughtful, grounded, and uniquely aligned with who you are.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

With 13 years of experience as a therapist, my motivation for working with autistic adults is grounded in a deep respect for neurodiversity and a commitment to creating spaces where people feel genuinely valued and empowered. Over the years, I’ve been continually inspired by the strengths, insight, and resilience within the autistic community, and that perspective shapes how I show up in my work.I strive to offer support that honors each person’s unique experiences rather than trying to fit them into a narrow framework. My approach focuses on helping clients navigate challenges in ways that feel authentic to them, while also building on their existing strengths and developing practical skills that support their daily lives and relationships. Together, we work toward creating a life where you feel understood, supported, and able to thrive on your own terms.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I prioritize an affirming, strengths-based approach because I want the people I work with to feel truly seen, valued, and empowered. I believe that every person already has unique strengths and abilities—they just may need support in recognizing and using them. I focus on listening closely to their experiences, validating what they’re feeling, and creating a space where they can show up as their authentic selves without judgment.
