Hello! I'm Rachelle and I am so glad you are here. Let me guess, you've been navigating a world that wasn't designed with you in mind, and you're exhausted from masking, conforming, or feeling like you don't quite fit. I'm right here with you. Whether you're discovering your neurodivergence for the first time, exploring your authentic gender identity, or simply feeling overwhelmed by systems that demand you be someone you're not—I see you, and I understand from both my professional training and my own lived experience what it means to search for belonging in spaces that haven't always welcomed our full selves.
My journey to specializing in neurodivergent care became deeply personal when I discovered the neurodiversity movement and began understanding autism and ADHD through an affirming lens rather than a deficit model—suddenly, everything I had experienced wasn't something to be "fixed," but a different, beautiful way of being human. Growing up feeling like I was speaking a different language than the world around me, learning to mask and adapt while wondering why everything felt harder, I carried these experiences alongside the wisdom of my Tlingit and Hawaiian cultural heritage, which taught me there are many valid ways to move through the world. I chose this specialization because I believe every person deserves to experience that profound moment of recognition I felt—the relief of being truly understood, celebrated for who they are, and supported in building a life that honors their authentic self. My lived experience, combined with my professional training, allows me to sit with clients not just as their therapist, but as someone who genuinely gets it, and this work isn't just my profession—it's my calling to help create spaces where being different isn't just tolerated, but truly celebrated.
My approach celebrates who you already are rather than focusing on what needs to be "fixed." I believe every person comes to therapy with incredible wisdom, resilience, and unique gifts—my role is to help you uncover and amplify these strengths so you can flourish. As someone who belongs to Native American, Hawaiian, and Autistic communities, I understand how intersecting identities create extraordinary strengths and bring rich perspectives to our work together. In our sessions, we'll celebrate your special interests as sources of brilliance and joy, recognize your sensitivity as a superpower for deep connection, and honor your authenticity as beautiful courage. We'll build systems that work with your natural rhythms, not against them. This affirming approach creates space for you to not just survive, but absolutely thrive as your magnificent, authentic self—because that's exactly who the world needs you to be.
