About
Hello, and welcome! I'm Charley, a Licensed Mental Health and Professional Counselor. I'm passionate about supporting neurodivergent adults as they deepen their self-understanding, embrace their unique strengths, and build lives that feel authentic and sustainable. My approach is warm, collaborative, and affirming, and I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. Whether you're navigating anxiety, burnout, relationships, life transitions, or exploring your neurodivergent identity, I look forward to partnering with you as we work toward meaningful and lasting change. I'm from Austin, Texas but live in NW Massachusetts and offer telehealth sessions in Massachuesetts, Texas, and Vermont.
I've always found myself drawn to working with neurodivergent adults because I genuinely enjoy the creativity, authenticity, and unique perspectives they bring. I strive to create a warm, collaborative space where clients feel understood, accepted, and empowered to better understand themselves and build lives that reflect who they are, rather than who they feel they're expected to be.
I believe meaningful change begins with understanding, not judgment. My approach is collaborative, affirming, and grounded in the belief that each person already possesses unique strengths, resilience, and wisdom. Rather than focusing on "fixing" what's wrong, I help clients better understand themselves, recognize patterns that no longer serve them, and build practical strategies that align with their values, strengths, and goals. As someone who was diagnosed with ADHD and autism later in life, I understand the power of self-understanding and strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, accepted, and empowered.
