About
Therapy has the power to foster meaningful change and personal growth. As a therapist, my role is to support this process by creating a welcoming, collaborative, and compassionate environment. I believe in providing a personalized, client-centered approach that meets you where you are. By honoring your lived experiences, we can explore choices together, and I will support you in recognizing and applying your strengths to promote lasting change.
My commitment to working with neurodivergent clients developed through both my professional experience and advanced training. As a school counselor and therapist, I’ve worked closely with individuals navigating autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergent profiles, which has allowed me to see firsthand how often their needs are misunderstood or approached with overly rigid, impersonal methods.I’m drawn to supporting individuals who think and experience the world differently, and I’ve seen how impactful it is when therapy is adapted to fit the individual rather than expecting the individual to fit a traditional model. This led me to pursue specialized certifications in ADHD and autism so I can provide more informed, affirming, and effective care. Many of my neurodivergent clients benefit from clear communication, practical strategies, and a therapist who balances validation with thoughtful challenge.
My approach is a strengths-based and affirming approach, identifying, focusing on, and building upon individual's strengths and unique abilities. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered to be themselves. My priority is to help clients better understand how their brain works and develop practical strategies that align with their strengths.
