Hello, my name is Funmi, I live in North Lauderdale and am currently licensed in Florida and Texas. I have experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma and life transitions. I take a warm, collaborative and strength based approach focusing on building tools to use in everyday life situations. My role is to support you in gaining clarity, build confidence and moving toward a more meaningful and purposeful life. I am committed to creating a space where trust develops through consistency, respect and care so you feel supported every step of the way.
I value meeting individuals exactly where they are and honoring the ways they experience and move through their lives. I believe neurodiversity is not something to be fixed, but understood and supported with care, respect and the right tools. I will focus on creating a space where individuals feel safe to be themselves while also building practical strategies that support daily functioning, relationships and overall well being. I am passionate about helping clients feel seen, reduce shame, and build confidence in who they are rather than feeling like they have to change to fit a mold.
My approach is affirming in meeting clients where they are and helping them recognize their existing resilience and capacity for continued growth. I focus on what is working and not what is wrong and collaborate to build practical skills that align with their goals. My goal is to create a supportive and safe space where clients feel understood, empowered and able to make meaningful changes.
