Hello and welcome! You have taken the first step by being here and let me be the first to say: I am proud of you! My name is Nijeri Griffin and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based and licensed in Texas. I am passionate about supporting all individuals to focus on enhancing their quality of life. I would like to create a space where you do not have to mask who you are and I can meet you there. No judgement, no pressure, just you and me in your space and on your time.
I am truly inspired by the uniqueness, strength and resilience of the neurodivergent community. My motivation to work with neurodivergent adults stems from understanding that everyone is uniquely different and my desire is to truly support your efforts in self-regulation. While you are here because you seek something from me, there is truly a lot the world, including myself, can learn from you.
My first goal is committing to understand you as an individual, which aids in me prioritizing an affirming and strength based approach. Starting there will help me to learn about you, your background, and goals you would like to accomplish. From there, we can build trust and comfort with one another so that I can supporting you as the doors open and you realize your full potential. There is an easy way and there is a hard way. I would like to take us down the road right in the middle. I cannot make any promises about your journey, but I can confidently say that if you show up for yourself during our sessions and daily in the world, I will compassionately support you in reaching your goals.
