About

Hi! My name is Nicole Seligman. At the heart of my work is a deep passion for understanding each person’s unique story and helping them gain clarity, validation, and direction through evidence based assessment. My areas of expertise include psychological, diagnostic, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological evaluations across the lifespan. I am licensed in Pennsylvania and hold an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT), allowing me to provide care via teletherapy in 42 PSYPACT-participating states. I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University in New York, and I’ve had the privilege of working in a wide range of multidisciplinary settings—public and private hospitals, universities, private practices, and Veterans Affairs.

Education & Licensure
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University, NY; Masters in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University, NY; Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, PA.
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I am deeply passionate about providing neurodivergent-affirming care to individuals who have historically been overlooked by traditional systems.  I am continually inspired by the creativity, passion, and resilience of autistic adults. Both personally and professionally, I value offering acceptance and identity-affirming support to everyone I work with. I use a strengths-based approach and tailor evidence-based assessments to meet each person’s unique needs. I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and person-centered care. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where everyone receives care that honors their unique perspective.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I believe in a strengths-based approach that integrates evidence-based assessment and is tailored to individual needs. I view neurodiverse-competent care as something developed through self-reflection, curiosity, and honest communication. My practice is guided by a client-first mindset, transparency, and a commitment to growth, with the goal of offering diagnoses that can be both validating and potentially life-changing. I strive to challenge traditional perceptions of autism by reframing misunderstood ‘deficits’ as underutilized strengths. By gaining a deeper understanding of your past experiences, I aim to highlight your strengths, expand your access to supportive care, and enhance your overall well-being.
