About

Hi, and welcome! I’m Nicole Rodriguez, a bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing virtual therapy to adults throughout Florida and Wisconsin. With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals as they navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, burnout, relationship challenges, life transitions, and those moments when life simply feels heavier than it should.I know that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and I’m honored that you’re considering taking that step. My hope is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are, where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to the life you want to live.

Education & Licensure
Master of Science in Counseling Psychology (Mental Health Counseling Concentration), Troy University; Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, University of Puerto Rico
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many neurodivergent individuals in a variety of settings, and those experiences have deeply shaped my approach as a therapist. I’ve seen how often autistic and neurodivergent adults have spent years feeling misunderstood, pressured to mask who they are, or trying to fit into environments that weren’t designed with them in mind.I’m passionate about creating a space where you don’t have to pretend or explain yourself just to be understood. I believe therapy should honor your unique way of thinking, communicating, and experiencing the world, not try to change who you are. My role is to help you better understand yourself, navigate challenges in ways that work for you, build on your strengths, and create a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My approach is rooted in the belief that you are not broken, you’ve developed ways of navigating a world that may not always have understood or supported you. Rather than focusing on “fixing” you, I work alongside you to better understand your unique strengths, values, and experiences, and to build on what is already working.I strive to create a warm, accepting space where you feel comfortable being your authentic self. Together, we’ll identify your strengths, explore practical strategies that fit your life, and work toward goals that are meaningful to you, not based on someone else’s expectations. I value open communication, curiosity, and collaboration, and I tailor therapy to honor your individual needs, preferences, and way of experiencing the world. As a bilingual therapist, I also understand the importance of culturally responsive care and am committed to providing an environment where clients from diverse backgrounds feel respected, understood, and empowered.
