About
Hello and welcome! I'm so glad you're here. My name is Dr. Nicole Noffsinger-Frazier, and I'm a licensed psychologist providing telehealth assessment services for adults across Tennessee, Alabama, Virginia, and nationally under my PsycPact license. I believe that seeking an evaluation is an act of curiosity and self-understanding, and I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and judgment-free experience where you can feel comfortable being yourself. My goal is to help you better understand your unique way of thinking, communicating, and experiencing the world while recognizing the strengths and challenges that have shaped your life. Every person has a different story, and I am committed to providing an assessment experience that is thoughtful, respectful, and tailored to you.
Much of my career has been spent working with high-achieving adults who felt that something never quite fit. Many described feeling exhausted by the effort of navigating social expectations, misunderstood despite their accomplishments, or overwhelmed by demands that seemed easier for everyone else. Time and again, I met individuals who had developed remarkable strengths and successful careers while quietly wondering why everyday life felt so difficult.
Those experiences led me to specialize in autism assessment for adults. I believe that receiving an accurate diagnosis is not about acquiring a label—it is about gaining a framework for understanding yourself with greater clarity and self-compassion. I am passionate about helping people make sense of lifelong patterns, recognize the strengths that come with their unique way of thinking, and replace self-criticism with self-understanding. My hope is that every evaluation leaves clients feeling seen, validated, and empowered to move forward with a deeper appreciation of who they are.
My approach is grounded in the belief that neurodiversity is a natural and valuable part of human variation, not something that needs to be fixed. I view the assessment process as a collaborative exploration of your experiences, strengths, and challenges rather than a search for deficits. Throughout the evaluation, I strive to create an environment where you can speak openly, ask questions, and feel comfortable sharing your authentic self without pressure to mask or perform.
I also recognize that many autistic adults have spent years adapting to environments that were not designed with their needs in mind. My goal is to help identify the patterns, abilities, and perspectives that make you uniquely you while providing a framework for understanding areas of difficulty with greater self-compassion. Whether or not an autism diagnosis is ultimately the best fit, I hope you leave the evaluation with meaningful insights, practical recommendations, and a deeper appreciation for your strengths and the ways they can support you in work, relationships, and everyday life.
