Nicole Belletti
About
Hi there! My name is Nicole Belletti. I currently live in Brooklyn and am licensed in New York State. I am passionate about supporting individuals from marginalized communities at all points in their journey towards the life of their dreams—whatever that looks like. As a member of several marginalized communities, I know how important it is to feel safe, heard, and validated, and I do everything in my power to create that kind of affirming environment as a clinician. You and I are equal partners in this work. Together, we’ll center your unique experiences and needs to ensure you’re receiving the exact right care for you.
My motivation for working with autistic adults stems from my early career experiences supporting children and young adults with autism as well as their families, and from my personal experiences with close friends who have navigated obtaining a diagnosis and searching for the support they need as adults living with autism. Bearing witness to the struggles that are too often part of the diagnostic process and the search for community, support, and acceptance has inspired me to be part of changing this experience. My goal is to help you navigate challenges, build on your strengths, and develop skills that enhance your day-to-day life and relationships. Together, we will work toward a life where you feel understood, supported, validated, and able to thrive and achieve your dreams.
I operate from an affirming, strengths-based approach. We will identify and build on your existing strengths and abilities to help you navigate challenges and achieve your personal goals and dreams. I will actively listen to and validate your experiences and feelings, creating a space where you can feel safe to express yourself fully and authentically.
