About

Hi, I’m Nick! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. In therapy, I try to create a space where you can show up as you are without feeling like you have to mask. A lot of my work is with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent adults, as well as people dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, identity stress, relationship challenges, and difficult family dynamics. I know therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’ve had experiences where you felt misunderstood or judged. In our work together, I’ll meet you with curiosity and we'll move at a pace that makes sense for you.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I’m drawn to working with autistic and neurodivergent clients because I care a lot about helping people feel understood without having to constantly translate themselves, partially due to my own past experiences navigating these challenges. Many neurodivergent people have spent years masking/pushing through or being told they are “too sensitive." I don’t want therapy to feel like another place where you have to perform. For me, this work is about creating room for the full picture of who you are, which includes your strengths, your struggles, your needs, your history, and the ways you’ve learned to cope. Sometimes that means working on practical things like boundaries, communication, routines, burnout, or emotional regulation. Sometimes it means talking through identity, trauma, shame, relationships, or the pain of not feeling fully seen.My hope is that therapy helps you feel less alone and more able to trust yourself. I want our work to support you in building a life that feels more manageable.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I try to approach therapy with a lot of curiosity and respect for the strengths you already have. I don’t see our work as “fixing” you. I see it as helping you better understand yourself and find new ways to support yourself when life feels overwhelming. In our sessions, I’ll pay attention to what has helped you survive, cope, connect, and keep going, even if some of those strategies are starting to feel exhausting or no longer fit. I want to help you notice your resilience, your values, your insight, and the parts of you that may have been overlooked or misunderstood. My approach is affirming, collaborative, and of course strengths-based. I’ll work with you to find tools and language that actually make sense for your life, while also making space for the bigger questions around identity, relationships, burnout, masking, trauma, and self-trust. My hope is that therapy feels like a place where you can be more fully yourself! And where we can build from who you are, not who other people have expected you to be.
