Intro

Hello! I’m Dr. Natalie Staats Reiss, a licensed psychologist in Ohio and Pennsylvania. I also received my Authority to Practice Inter-jurisdictional Tele-psychology (APIT) granted by the PSYPACT Commission, allowing me to serve clients in 40+ states. My passion is psychological assessment- I am excited to utilize my expertise in providing testing services to a wide range of neurodivergent people to help you better understand your strengths, challenges, and unique way of thinking. My approach is to combine neuropsychological assessment science with empathy, caring, and understanding.

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I started my journey providing assessment services for neurodivergent adults at Case Western Reserve University (Ohio) and expanded to include working with adults of all ages and backgrounds. I saw firsthand the challenges associated with finding appropriate and supportive assessment services for neurodivergent adults. I am humbled by the opportunity to help people gain insight and knowledge that can help them better navigate the experiences and obstacles that life throws our way.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I want people to join me in investigating their strengths and weaknesses through a lens of exploration and understanding.  Using assessment data, we can identify a "game plan" to determine next steps and ensure that people feel empowered to move forward and create their own path to thriving rather than just surviving.
