About
Hi! I am Dr. R, a licensed clinical psychologist based in sunny Florida. I am also authorized to provide virtual services in 40+ states through PSYPACT. Over the years, my focus has always been on truly listening, asking the right questions, and helping people make sense of their experiences. I am passionate about working with adults who are exploring whether autism might be part of their story. I believe in the importance of offering a thoughtful, respectful evaluation process that helps people feel seen, understood, and supported.
For a long time, autism has been something people mostly associated with childhood, but so many adults are now realizing that their experiences may have been misunderstood or missed altogether. That gap in recognition and support is what drew me to this work. I have seen firsthand how powerful it can be when someone finally receives an explanation that makes sense of their life experiences. This work provides an opportunity to provide something really meaningful: clarity, validation, and access to resources that can truly make a difference.
I believe every person brings a unique set of strengths, and my job is to help highlight those, especially in a process that can sometimes feel clinical or diagnostic. When I do evaluations, I create a space that’s collaborative, respectful, and grounded in curiosity. Rather than only focusing on a list of symptoms, I am interested in understanding how someone thinks, processes, and experiences the world and what has helped them navigate life so far. I bring strong assessment skills, a deep commitment to learning, and a genuine respect for neurodiversity. Above all, I aim to make the evaluation process feel useful and empowering.
