About

Hi there, good to (kind of) meet you, I’m Morgan! I’m an independently licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Arizona with over 10 years of experience helping people navigate life’s challenges. My background includes working in a variety of treatment settings with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, relationship concerns, and ADHD. What drives me as a provider is my belief that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I strive to create a safe, comfortable space where you can show up as you are, talk about the things that feel difficult to put into words, and work toward meaningful change at your own pace. I know therapy can feel a little awkward or intimidating at first, so I do my best to make the experience feel natural, approachable, and even a little less scary. My goal is to meet you where you are, help you feel comfortable being yourself, and remind you that you don’t have to figure everything out alone.

Education & Licensure
Bachelor's in Criminology & Criminal Justice from Arizona State University; Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Arizona University
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My path into this field is both personal and professional. Being diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood gave me a deeper understanding of how our experiences can shape the way we see ourselves and navigate the world, particularly when we don’t always have the answers or language to understand ourselves. I’ve also always been someone people naturally turn to, whether it’s friends, family, or even complete strangers looking for support, understanding, or simply someone who will listen without judgment. Over time, I realized how meaningful it is to help people feel seen, validated, and a little less alone in whatever they’re navigating. That’s what continues to drive me as a therapist. I want people to feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are, without needing to explain away their feelings, apologize for their struggles, or pretend they have it all together. Sometimes, having someone who genuinely listens and helps you make sense of what feels overwhelming can be the beginning of something really meaningful.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that you are more than the challenges you’re facing. Rather than focusing solely on what feels wrong or what needs to change, I want to help you recognize the strengths, resilience, and abilities you already possess, even if they’re difficult to see right now. I take a compassionate, collaborative approach and work to understand your unique experiences rather than fitting you into a one-size-fits-all approach. My own experience of being diagnosed with ADHD as an adult has given me a personal appreciation for how much there is to understand about ourselves and how validating it can be when things finally begin to make sense. I strive to create a space where you feel accepted, encouraged, and comfortable being yourself. Together, we can explore what’s getting in your way, build on what’s already working, and find approaches that fit your life, your needs, and your goals. My goal isn’t to change who you are, but to help you feel more confident in who you are and what you’re capable of becoming.
