About

Hello and welcome! I'm Dr. Morgan Gruhot, and I'm so glad you're here. I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Idaho. I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Forensic Psychology, and throughout my career I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of clinical settings.

One of my greatest professional passions is helping individuals and families gain clarity through comprehensive psychological and autism evaluations. I understand that seeking an assessment can feel overwhelming, whether you're looking for answers for yourself or someone you love. My goal is to create a supportive, welcoming environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and sharing your experiences.

Education & Licensure
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Walden University; M.S. in Psychology from Walden University; Master of Social Work from Boise State University; Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Dakota
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I became a psychologist because I believe everyone deserves to understand themselves and have access to the support they need to thrive. I'm passionate about autism evaluations because they can provide clarity, validation, and meaningful direction for individuals and families who have been searching for answers. My goal is to provide thoughtful, compassionate assessments that highlight each person's unique strengths while helping connect them with the resources and support they need to succeed.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I take a compassionate, strengths-based approach to every evaluation, recognizing that each person has unique abilities, perspectives, and potential. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves—not by focusing solely on challenges, but by identifying their strengths and providing meaningful recommendations that support success at home, school, work, and in everyday life. I strive to create a welcoming, affirming environment where every individual feels respected, understood, and valued.
