About
Hello, I’m Monique Mort (she/her), a licensed therapist in Arizona dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and respected.
I have a passion for working with individuals and communities who identify as LGBTQ+, people of color (POC), and those who embrace alternative lifestyles. I recognize that systemic oppression and social inequities can impact individuals, families, and communities in profound ways. I strive to acknowledge these realities within my work while helping clients navigate their experiences with compassion, understanding, and authenticity.
I am especially passionate about working with neurodivergent adults because I believe therapy should honor different ways of thinking, communicating, processing emotions, and experiencing the world. Many neurodivergent adults have spent years adapting to expectations that were not designed with their needs in mind, sometimes leading to masking, burnout, self-doubt, or feeling misunderstood. I want to provide a space where clients do not have to hide or change who they are to be accepted. My approach centers on self-understanding, self-acceptance, and developing strategies that support clients in creating lives that work for them, not simply teaching them how to fit into someone else’s expectations.
I am committed to normalizing conversations around mental health and making quality mental health support more accessible to communities that have historically been underserved or marginalized. My goal is to create a therapeutic space where you can explore your experiences openly, develop greater self-awareness, and work toward meaningful personal growth without judgment
