About
Hi, I am Dr. Monique Levermore and I am here for you from the state of Florida where I have been licensed for many years. It is really important to me in my role as a Clinical Psychologist to keep the goal of helping people front and center. That is why I started educating myself years ago and that is what I continue to do to this day. I want to use my knowledge and experience to support people who are trying to figure out how to solve problems that seem overwhelming. It breaks my heart to think that people are trying desperately to find out why they are having challenges and that they feel alone in that space.
I have a dear friend, Lauren Henry, who is passionate about providing design services to families of individuals with a diagnosis on the spectrum and wrote the book “Unique Kids, Unique Surroundings” that helped to me to have a deeper appreciation for the importance of surroundings. I look forward to working with individuals and families in order to provide a deep analysis and pursue positive achievement of goals.
Psychology cannot provide all of the answers but when it comes to human behavior and diagnoses we have a lot of research that I can use to shine a light and recommend effective solutions. I have been educated at Howard University and Harvard Medical School’s Cambridge Health Alliance. I have been providing psychological services and teaching at the graduate level for over 27 years. My particular area of expertise is in working with the diversity of clients who may be neurodivergent or having varying physical abilities. For quite some time, I have been the go professional for psychological testing for low vision clients, deaf clients and children and adolescents of both gifted and varying intellectual ability, helping them to live their best lives.
