About
Hello! I am Dr. Monica Cline and am a licensed psychologist with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of healthcare settings. My background includes psychological and neuropsychological assessment and therapy. I understand that the assessment process can feel uncertain or overwhelming. My goal is to create an experience in which you feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely heard.
I am especially motivated to work with autistic adults not only because of a deep respect for neurodiversity but also because of a passion to help individuals receive care they deserve. Care that can be challenging due to limited access to services and navigating environments that are not designed with their needs, communication styles, or ways of experiencing the world in mind. I value the opportunity to help every individual better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, and access support that respects their goals and identity.
I approach each person with curiosity and compassion, taking the time to understand not only the concerns that brought them to the assessment, but also their experiences, circumstances, values, interests, and individual strengths. I believe assessment should provide more than a set of test scores and strive to explain results in clear, understandable language. I connect the findings to an individual's everyday life with individualized recommendations that can support functioning, well-being, and overall quality of life. I want clients I work with to leave the process with meaningful answers, a clearer understanding of themselves, and a sense of direction about what comes next.
