Molly Fechter-Leggett
About
My name is Molly (she/they), and I am a licensed clinical psychologist living in the beautiful mountains of Vermont. I hold licenses in Massachusetts, Vermont, West Virginia, California, and I am also authorized to practice through PsyPact. With over two decades of experience in the field, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, trauma-informed, and affirming care to all individuals, particularly those who are neurodiverse and/or gender-diverse. My practice is grounded in a strengths-based approach, which empowers clients to embrace their unique identities and navigate life's challenges with resilience and authenticity.
I have over 20 years of experience working with neurodiverse and autistic youth and adults. Throughout my career, I have collaborated extensively with children, adolescents, and adults to create safe and supportive environments for self-discovery and personal growth. I have also provided training to doctoral students on evaluating and supporting neurodiversity. My understanding of neurodiversity is both deep and personal, particularly in relation to its intersection with other aspects of identity, such as gender, disability, and mental health. I am committed to helping individuals celebrate their uniqueness and thrive on their own terms.
I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to explore their experiences and identity in a safe, supportive, and affirming environment. The beauty of our society is found in the diversity of our identities and experiences, which I wholeheartedly believe should be celebrated. In all aspects of my work, I am dedicated to helping clients access their inner strengths, fostering lives filled with joy, meaningful connections, and a sense of purpose.
