About

Welcome! I am so glad you are here. My name is Miriam and I am a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in Massachusetts. I am especially passionate about helping people better understand their brains and themselves - without judgment and without trying to fit everyone into the same mold. My goal is to create a space where you can feel understood, accepted, and comfortable and then together, we can explore how your brain works, identify your unique strengths, and find strategies that work for you.

Education & Licensure
PsyD in Clinical Psychology from William James College, MA in Counseling Psychology from Massachusetts School for Professional Psychology, Bachelors in Science (Dual Major Psychology and Anthropology) University of Pittsburgh
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

One of the reasons I feel so passionate about this work is because I have several neurodivergent individuals in my family and close circle of friends. Through them, I’ve had the privilege of seeing firsthand how meaningful it can be when someone begins to understand how their brain works and why they experience the world in the way they do. That understanding can be incredibly empowering—it can help someone recognize their strengths, advocate for the support they need, and move through the world with greater confidence in who they are.

My hope is that I can offer you that same space to explore your own experiences with curiosity, compassion, and without judgment. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as we work together to better understand your unique experiences, identify what helps you thrive, and build a deeper understanding of the way your brain works. You are the expert on your own experience, and I’m here to support you along the journey.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I recognize that assessments can sometimes feel clinical or impersonal, and I am committed to creating a space that feels warm, welcoming, and grounding. I approach every interaction with genuine curiosity and deep respect, holding the belief that each person is the expert of their own lived experience. I center a strength-based, affirming approach that highlights resilience, insight, and individuality, supporting people as they explore and make meaning of their life experiences.
