About
I’m Dr. Teel, a North Carolina–licensed clinical psychologist based in Fayetteville. My background includes psychological assessment, consultation, supervision, and therapy across the lifespan. I’m driven by the belief that people deserve care that feels both clinically grounded and deeply human. I bring warmth, curiosity, and compassion to my work, creating space for clients to feel heard, make sense of what they’re experiencing, and move toward meaningful change.
My work in psychological assessment has shown me how much it matters to be understood as a whole person, especially when the way you think, communicate, or experience the world differs from what others expect. I’m drawn to working with autistic and other neurodivergent clients because I value careful listening and the chance to understand each person’s strengths, challenges, and goals in their own context. I want clients to feel respected and supported as they build a life that works for them.
I begin by getting to know the person beyond a diagnosis. I want to understand what matters to you, what comes naturally to you, and the strengths you may have had to overlook while navigating a world that doesn’t always make room for your needs. Together, we can recognize and build on those strengths while finding compassionate, practical ways to address what feels difficult. My goal is for you to feel affirmed in who you are and supported in creating a life that reflects your values and potential.
