About

Welcome! My name is Michelle Miller. I am so glad you are her. I am a licensed psychologist based in Florida, currently practicing in both Florida and Indiana. With over 20 years of clinical experience and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Ball State University, I've dedicated my career to helping clients find answers about themselves--answers that lead to real, meaningful improvements in their quality of life. I work with a variety of clients, including those seeking ADHD and Autism assessments.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My passion for working with neurodivergent individuals grew organically from both my professional training and personal experience. During my doctoral program, I developed a genuine interest in assessment work, and as I began my private practie, I started conducting evaluations with adolescents. That early work opened my eyes to the profound impact accurate diagnosis can have on a young person's life and I became committed to expanding my expertise. I pursued intensive training to conduct comprehensive autism evaluations across all age groups, jensuring that every assessmentI conduct meets the highest standard of best practices. What transformed this professional interst into deep personal passion , however, was my own family. Two of my nephews are neurodivergent. One was diagnosed with both autism and ADHD, and the with ADHD. Watching them navigate their journeys, and witnessing how a proper diagnosis and support can truly change the trajectory of someone's life, reinforced why this work matters so profoundly. I understand firsthand the importance of thorough, compassionate assessment and the relief and clarity that comes with answers. Now my goal is to bring that same level of care, expertise, and understanding to every client I work with, helpng neurodivergent individuals and their families find the support and validation they deserve.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My work is grounded in a strength-based framework that honors neurodiversity as a natural variation of human neurology. I believe that meaningful growth happens in spaces where people feel truly safe to be themselves. In my practice, I prioritize creating an environment where your unique perspective, communication style, and way of being are not just accepted—they’re centered.Rather than pathologizing difference, I work with you to identify and build upon your existing strengths while addressing challenges in ways that feel authentic and sustainable. Every person’s path looks different, and my approach reflects that individuality. I’m committed to facilitating genuine self-expression and helping you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, free from judgment. Together, we’ll create a space where you can show up fully as you are.
