About

Welcome, I’m glad you’re here! I am Dr. Michelle Bosco and I am a clinical psychologist based and licensed in Connecticut, with telehealth registrations in Vermont and Florida. My clinical areas of expertise include neuropsychological and psychological evaluations. My goal is to provide a collaborative space in which to support you on your journey toward self-discovery, deeper self-understanding, and broadened self-knowledge. As we work together along this path, we will focus on identifying strengths to leverage growth out of life’s challenges through multifaceted assessment and definition of those challenges. I am humbled to be a part of your unique journey.

Education & Licensure
Psy.D. in clinical psychology (concentration in neuropsychology) from Florida School of Professional Psychology (FSPP); M.A. in clinical psychology from FSPP; M.A. Archaeology and Prehistory from University of Sheffield (England); B.A. in Psychology, University of Kentucky.
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My motivation to work with adults with autism spectrum disorder is borne of my deeply held belief that everyone deserves to be seen, respected, and valued for their unique, individual experience and contribution our immediate and more general psychological and social contexts while also being empowered by those uniquenesses. Navigating challenges should enhance daily life, relationships, and adaptive sense of self rather than reinforce societal labels and prejudice-laced viewpoints. I hope to help you move toward a life in which you feel appreciated and understood, supported and bolstered to assert your unique voice and worth.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

To meet these aims, I prioritize a strength-based approach to assessment and human understanding. I emphasize identifying points and junctures reflecting choice and agency. I see diagnosis as a communication tool - I view the person as The Person, not as the diagnosis.
