Memoree Burge
About
Hello and welcome! My name is Memoree Burge and I am a resident of Mississippi and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Mississippi and Alabama. I am passionate about helping individuals on their journey to growing into the best versions of themselves. I have more than 10 years of experience working with a diverse population of individuals including hospice care, psychiatric residential for adolescents, addiction, and inpatient and outpatient mental health.
My motivation for working with autistic and neurodivergent adults comes from my belief that every individual deserves the right to feel valued and understood. I recognize that neurodivergent individuals have unique strengths, qualities, and perspectives that others may not understand. I want to create a safe and supportive environment that allows you to be open, honest, and unapologetically yourself while helping your learn ways to use your unique strengths, qualities and perspective to your advantage.
As a clinician, it is my belief that every individual can become qualified in navigating their own life challenges when provided with support, guidance, and the necessary tools. With approaches such as strength-based and supportive therapy, I strive to helping you define what that support may look like for you and to provide guidance and the tools while also being a listening ear and nonjudgement. I have a strong belief in fostering hope to promoting your growth and well-being as you navigate life on a daily basis.
