About
Hello, my name is Melissa. My passion is helping others find their voice and navigate life’s challenges with greater balance and intention. Sometimes it is difficult to assert your needs, set boundaries, and make the social connections that help you feel comfortable and heard. I work with neurodivergent adults, particularly those on the autism spectrum who experience co-occurring traits (such as AuDHD or autism and Anxiety or OCD). Navigating relationships, life changes, and your unique traits in a neurotypical world can sometimes feel isolating. My goal is to support you in living more authentically and in alignment with who you are.
Driven by a deep respect for neurodiversity, I provide a validating and collaborative space where your energy will be protected, and where you can feel safe, valued, and empowered. I am consistently inspired by the resilience and unique perspectives within the autistic community. Rather than using a deficit-based approach, I partner with clients to navigate life's barriers, honor their innate strengths, and build self-advocacy tools that enrich their daily lives and relationships.
In our first sessions, we'll focus on building a safe and comfortable space where you can share your story at your own pace. You don't need to arrive with everything figured out. We'll work together to understand what's happening, identify your goals, and determine where it makes sense to begin. I want you to feel heard and supported. I want to learn more about what brings you to therapy and discuss how we can work together as we begin your journey in self discovery, self acceptance, and personal growth.
