About
Hello and welcome! I’m Dr. Melissa Gregory, a licensed psychologist with a deep commitment to supporting neurodivergent adults on their journey of self-discovery and empowerment. I practice in Minnesota, where I’ve had the privilege of serving diverse communities in schools, hospitals, clinics, and private practice for over 20 years. My approach is rooted in warmth, respect, and genuine curiosity about each person’s unique experiences. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where you feel truly heard and understood, and where your strengths and perspectives are honored. I’m here to walk alongside you as you explore your neurodivergent identity, find new ways to thrive, and deepen your connections with yourself and others.
My motivation for specializing in working with autistic and neurodivergent adults comes from a heartfelt respect for neurodiversity and a belief in the power of self-awareness. Over the years, I have witnessed the incredible strengths, creativity, and resilience within the neurodivergent community. I am passionate about providing care that celebrates your unique way of experiencing the world. I strive to offer a space where you feel valued, empowered, and supported as you navigate your journey. It is an honor to help clients discover and embrace their authentic selves, and to walk with them as they build lives filled with meaning, connection, and self-acceptance.
I bring a neuroaffirming, strengths-based approach to all aspects of my work. I believe that each person has innate gifts, talents, and perspectives that deserve to be recognized and celebrated. My role is to help you identify and build upon your strengths, while honoring your lived experiences and personal values. I listen deeply and compassionately, always striving to create a space where you feel safe to express yourself authentically. My approach is collaborative and empowering: together, we will explore what makes you unique, and develop strategies that support your growth, self-advocacy, and well-being. I am proud to be an ally to LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities, and I welcome individuals of all backgrounds and identities.
