About
Hi, I’m Megie! I live in Washington State and am licensed in WA, CA, and PSYPACT states. I’m a clinical neuropsychologist who loves helping people better understand themselves and how their brains work. I believe that finding answers can bring a sense of relief, clarity, and even a new appreciation for who you are.
My background includes working with adults navigating questions about themselves, including autism, trauma, brain injuries, and cognitive changes. I take a warm, collaborative approach to assessment, making space for your unique story, strengths, and experiences. My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself throughout the process.
I see assessment as more than a diagnosis—it’s an opportunity to connect the dots, better understand your experiences, and identify meaningful next steps. I hope you leave our work together with greater clarity, self-understanding, and confidence moving forward.
My background in clinical psychology and neuropsychology has shaped my interest in understanding how people think, process information, and experience the world. I’m particularly drawn to autism assessment in adults because greater understanding of one’s self can be validating and empowering, especially for those who have spent years feeling different without knowing why. I value the opportunity to help people make sense of lifelong experiences, recognize patterns in their strengths and challenges, and gain clarity.
I approach assessment with curiosity, respect, and an appreciation for the many ways people think, communicate, and experience the world. I view assessment as an opportunity to build understanding rather than simply identify difficulties. I take time to understand each person's developmental history, lived experiences, strengths, and areas where they may encounter challenges, while recognizing that differences are not inherently deficits. My background in neuropsychology allows me to consider the broader picture, including cognition, emotional experiences, and everyday functioning. I aim to provide a clear, individualized understanding of assessment findings that honors each person's identity and offers meaningful insight into their needs, strengths, and next steps.
