About
Greetings! My name is Meghan. I currently live in Asheville, NC and am licensed in North Carolina (PsyPact licensure coming soon). I am passionate about supporting diverse humans to be the best versions of themselves in a challenging and changing world. I am easy to connect with, and my warmth and validation create a safe space to feel truly heard and understood. I see our work as a team effort - I will guide the way, but you are the expert on you. I strive to work together to capitalize on your strengths, bring clarity to your understanding of who you are, and support your resilience.
The facts are clear - a lot of adults with Autism have never been diagnosed, especially women. I have seen first hand how a diagnosis can bring clarity, validation, access to needed resources, and empowerment. Autism is something people have, not something people are. My goal is to help you feel proud of your strengths and who you are while gaining clarity about whether Autism may be contributing to your experience of the world. Our world is not built for neuro-spiceness, but the better we understand ourselves, the more power we have to get the resources we need to be our best selves, share our strengths, and navigate this complex world.
Some of the biggest gifts and strengths are found in people with Autism, but often they can be missed in our neurotypical world. I prioritize creating a safe space where we can work as a team to highlight your strengths as we explore your identity and experience of this world. We will work together to identify whether Autism is present, and discuss recommendations to help you feel more supported in sharing your strengths and navigating this complex world so that you can be the best version of you possible!
