About

Sometimes, life looks manageable on the outside, but internally, you feel overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or stuck in patterns you don't fully understand. You may find yourself overthinking, struggling in relationships, having difficulty managing emotions, or feeling like you're constantly trying to meet expectations that leave little room for your own needs. You don't have to know exactly what you need from therapy to get started.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, I work with adults who want to better understand themselves, navigate difficult emotions, and create meaningful, lasting change. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, supported, and free to explore your experiences without fear of judgment.

‍

I offer neurodivergent-affirming therapy for individuals with autism and ADHD, recognizing that there is no single right way to think, communicate, experience emotions, or navigate the world. Rather than focusing on changing who you are, our work centers on understanding your unique needs, identifying your strengths, and developing strategies that support your well-being. Together, we can explore challenges related to emotional regulation, executive functioning, relationships, boundaries, sensory experiences, and the stress that can come from navigating a world that doesn't always accommodate neurodivergent ways of being.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and person-centered, incorporating evidence-based techniques alongside compassionate exploration of the thoughts, emotions, and experiences that shape how you relate to yourself and others. Together, we'll explore patterns that may be contributing to your current struggles while building practical tools to help you manage emotions, strengthen boundaries, and navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and self-compassion.

‍

Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief, life transitions, neurodivergence, or the lingering effects of past experiences, you don't have to work through everything alone. Our work will be guided by your needs, your goals, and your pace.
