Hello and welcome! My name is Dr. Megan Dufford and I reside in Pennsylvania. I hold licenses in Pennsylvania and Maryland. I enjoy working collaboratively with individuals who are interested in understanding themselves better through the lens of psychological assessment. I am focused on guiding individuals through the various phases of the assessment process from a supportive, nonjudgmental lens. I remain committed to fostering an environment where individuals feel safe, heard, and truly seen throughout the process, and that they are provided a comprehensive experience that highlights their strengths and matches their unique goals.
Autism has been a longstanding interest since working with neurodivergent youth in a summer camp setting before my graduate training began. From then on, I continued to learn about and work with neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan providing therapy and assessment services in a variety of community, skilled nursing, and private practice settings. It is incredibly fulfilling to have the opportunity to connect with and learn from individuals with diverse life experiences and ways of processing their world. My goals are focused on providing assessments that are grounded in who the unique individual is, while also providing clarity and relevant information that will help them thrive on their ongoing journey.
I provide assessments that are rooted in an understanding of each client and their unique background, lived experiences, needs, and personal goals. I focus on creating a supportive, empathetic environment that is rooted in deep respect for the individual. My priority will always be to highlight each individual's strengths and abilities, and to provide diagnostic clarity so they may understand themselves even more fully.
