About
Hi, I'm Max (they/them). I am a queer, neurodivergent therapist with a passion for supporting individuals navigating Neurodiversity, Anxiety, Depression, and the complexities of Gender Identity and Sexuality. With a deeply affirming approach rooted in lived experience, I strive to create a welcoming and collaborative space for folx of all backgrounds to explore, heal, and grow. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Texas and Ohio, and a Board-Certified Music Therapist. My background includes working in both inpatient and outpatient settings with clients across the lifespan.
I decided to specialize in working with neurodivergent clients partly because of my own lived experience, and partly because I was noticing an increase of neurodivergent adults on my caseload in private practice who were drawn to working with a therapist who sees them as whole individuals. Clients deserve to work with someone who can understand and appreciate their uniqueness, not seek to change who they are to fit society's idea of normal/neurotypical.
I believe that therapy should be a space where you feel safe, seen, and respected. Life doesn’t come with a roadmap, and I see the therapeutic relationship as a partnership—one where you are the expert in your life, and I serve as a compassionate guide. Clinical approaches are tailored to your unique goals and lived experience, always grounded in the belief that everyone deserves a life of dignity, fulfillment, and authenticity.
