Welcome and thank you for the opportunity to connect! My name is Matthew J. Moyer and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Virginia. I am a true compassionate helper that started my career working with children and adolescents and progressed into the adult and geriatric populations in both clinical and neuropsychological areas. Part of my training, and part of just who I am, integrates strength-based principles and warmth combined with individualizing care.
I am passionate and continually inspired to work with the autism spectrum population as I received extensive training and experiences early in my career for children and adults. It influenced me to support and better understand strengths and challenges in the autism population and led to original research and my dissertation.
I actively listen and give space and validation easily and freely- I want to hear from you. Your words and your experiences. I want to better understand what you see and feel and help navigate challenges and enhance strengths.
