About
Hello! I’m so glad you’re here.
My name is Dr. Marnie Richard, and I am a licensed psychologist providing telehealth services in several states, including Colorado, Arizona, Hawaii, Texas, Washington and Wyoming. I am passionate about helping individuals better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and build meaningful, lasting change.
My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore your experiences openly. I work with adults facing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, relationship challenges, and neurodivergence. I also have extensive experience conducting comprehensive evaluations for ADHD and autism spectrum disorders, helping clients gain greater clarity and insight into their unique strengths and needs.
Every person’s story is different, and I believe therapy should reflect that individuality. I take a collaborative, evidence-based approach tailored to your goals, values, and experiences. Together, we will identify your strengths, develop practical strategies, and work toward creating the life you want to live.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward greater self-understanding, resilience, and well-being.
My interest in working with autistic and neurodivergent individuals grew through my extensive experience conducting comprehensive evaluations for ADHD and autism across the lifespan. I have seen firsthand how meaningful it can be for people to gain a clearer understanding of themselves, often after years of feeling misunderstood or unsupported.
I believe that assessment and therapy can be powerful tools for self-discovery, self-acceptance, and informed decision-making. My approach is grounded in neurodiversity-affirming care, recognizing and celebrating individual differences while helping clients navigate challenges related to school, work, relationships, and daily life.
I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe, validated, and empowered to better understand their unique strengths and support needs.
I recognize that gaining insight into one's unique strengths and support needs can be transformative. I use information gathered through assessment and therapy to help clients better understand themselves, build self-compassion, and advocate effectively for the accommodations and supports that help them thrive.
My goal is to help clients move from self-criticism to self-understanding by highlighting strengths, recognizing resilience, and identifying strategies that support success in everyday life.
