About

Hello and welcome. I'm glad you're here. My name is Marlon, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina with over 10+ years of experience in the mental health field. I am passionate about creating a warm, supportive space where you can feel safe, respected, and truly understood. I believe therapy should honor who you are, including your unique strengths, challenges, and experiences. My goal is to walk alongside you with compassion and care as you work through life's difficulties, build on your strengths, and move toward greater clarity, confidence, and well-being.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I chose to work with autistic and neurodivergent clients because I deeply value each person's individuality and believe everyone deserves to feel understood, respected, and supported as they are. I am passionate about creating a space where you do not have to hide who you are or feel pressured to fit into someone else's expectations. I want to help you make sense of your experiences, recognize your strengths, and navigate challenges in a way that feels meaningful and empowering. It is important to me that therapy feels affirming, compassionate, and centered on helping you thrive in your everyday life and relationships.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I take an affirming, strengths-based approach by helping you recognize and build on the qualities that already exist within you rather than focusing only on what feels hard. I believe your differences deserve to be understood with compassion and respect, not judged or minimized. In our work together, I aim to create a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself openly and honestly. I listen carefully to your experiences, validate what you feel, and help you develop practical tools in ways that fit who you are. My goal is to support you in building confidence, understanding you strengths, and moving toward a life that feels more grounded, empowered, and authentic.
