About

Hello and welcome, I am happy you are here and that I get to be a part of your journey of self-discovery and well-being. My name is Dr. Mark Crisafulli. I currently live just outside of Charlotte and am licensed in North Carolina. I believe that living as our most authentic selves allows us to reach our potential. That process begins with learning more about ourselves. My goal is to work collaboratively with you to discover what makes you, you.

Education & Licensure
PhD in Psychology from University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL; Master's in Psychology from University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL; Bachelor's in Psychology from Clark University, Worcester, MA
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My motivation for working with neurodivergent individuals comes from a lifetime of personal and professional experiences that have helped shape my identity. My aim is to learn about you and to help you learn more about yourself. I am driven by a desire to uncover your strengths, perspective, and challenges, and to provide you with answers and recommendations that can help you live the life you want to live. Together, we will start down a path of self-discovery.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I prioritize an approach to assessment that starts from your perspective. I believe that you are the expert on yourself. I want to use what you know to help you learn more about the challenges you face, and to the extent possible provide you with answers. This starts with providing you with a safe space to be honest and truly be yourself.
