Treatment Approach

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My motivation for working with autistic adults is rooted in my professional history. I had the honor of working with older adults with autism who were unable to speak and required physical assistance. I was able to build relationships with these individuals and they inspired me to carry forward the ability to foster a space where every individual feels valued, safe, and empowered but now in a different field of care.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I prioritize an affirming and strength-based approach into my work by meeting you where you are at. I want clients to feel seen, valued, and empowered. Every single person has their own unique strengths, abilities and circumstances that they enter the room with. It is my aim to lean into curiosity and create a safe space.
