About
Hello and welcome. I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist (PsyD) based in Texas, deeply driven by a lifelong commitment to advocating for individuals whose unique minds are often misunderstood by traditional systems. My path to specializing in psychological evaluation has been anything but conventional, shaped by nine years of frontline service as a police officer and a decade as a secondary educator teaching in my hometown. These diverse chapters gave me a profound, real-world understanding of systemic challenges and human behavior, fueling my dedication to providing equitable, culturally competent, and deeply accurate diagnostic testing for individuals from all walks of life.
My decision to focus exclusively on psychological assessment for autistic and neurodivergent individuals is rooted in what I witnessed during my ten years in the classroom. I saw firsthand how traditional, rigid evaluation standards consistently mischaracterized, overlooked, or pathologized brilliant, diverse minds. I chose this path because I believe an assessment should never be a clinical tool used to box you into a deficit-based label. Instead, it should be a powerful, life-changing key to self-understanding and validation. I am inspired daily by the profound resilience and distinct perspectives within the neurodivergent community, and my mission is to provide an evaluation experience where you feel completely seen, respected, and vindicated.
I bring a fiercely affirming and strength-based approach to the testing process by explicitly shifting the focus away from what you "can't" do and centering the evaluation on how your brain naturally thrives. I completely dismantle the cold, sterile environment typically associated with clinical testing, treating you instead as the ultimate collaborator and expert on your own lived experience. My goal is to uncover and map out your innate cognitive strengths and talents.
