About
Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Maggie, and I’m passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward greater self-understanding and well-being. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, and I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted for who you are. As a clinician, I value getting to know the whole person and understanding what you need from therapy. I’m compassionate, empathetic, and believe that humor can sometimes help us through even the most difficult conversations. I’m also willing to dig deeper when needed to help you gain insight and develop a better understanding of yourself, your relationships, and your experiences.I utilize approaches including CBT, EMDR, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Family Systems, tailoring treatment to your individual needs and goals. I respect and value the unique differences, experiences, and perspectives each person brings to therapy. My goal is to meet you where you are, partner with you in the process, and help you identify the strengths and tools that can support meaningful change. You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Wherever you are in your journey, I’m here to listen, understand, and support you along the way.
My motivation for working with autistic and neurodivergent adults comes from both a deep respect for neurodiversity and my own lived experience as a member of the neurodivergent community. As someone with ADHD, I understand the importance of feeling seen, understood, and supported without having to fit into a traditional mold. I’m passionate about creating a space where neurodivergent individuals can feel comfortable being themselves, explore their strengths, and navigate challenges without judgment. My goal is to provide support that honors each person’s unique experience while helping clients build greater self-understanding, confidence, and connection. Together, we can work toward a life that feels authentic, meaningful, and supportive of who you are.
I prioritize a neurodiversity-affirming, compassionate, and strengths-based approach, creating a space where clients feel seen, understood, and accepted for who they are. I believe in listening without judgment and taking the time to understand each person’s unique experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals. My approach is collaborative, meaning we will work together to identify what support feels most helpful and meaningful to you.I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Family Systems to help clients better understand themselves, process difficult experiences, develop practical coping strategies, and strengthen relationships. I tailor these approaches to each individual rather than expecting every client to fit into the same therapeutic model. My goal is to help you build on your strengths, gain greater self-understanding, and develop tools that support a life that feels authentic and fulfilling to you.
