About
Welcome, and thank you for taking a moment to learn more about me. I am a licensed clinical psychologist based in Wisconsin, and I bring together my clinical training, experience in higher education, and commitment to culturally responsive, affirming care in my work with clients. As a Latina and bilingual professional, I am deeply aware of how culture, identity, language, and lived experience shape the way people understand themselves and move through the world. These perspectives are central to how I practice and how I show up in the therapy and assessment space. My background includes higher education as an educator and administrator, where I support diverse student populations and contributed to training and program development focused on clinical competence and equity in care. These experiences continue to inform my clinical lens, especially my passion for neurodiversity-affirming work and supporting individuals who have often felt misunderstood in traditional systems.I am committed to creating a space where clients feel welcomed, respected, and fully seen in their complexity, while also being supported in identifying strengths, understanding patterns, and working toward meaningful goals.
My interest in working with autistic and neurodivergent clients comes from both my clinical and educational experiences, where I see how often individuals are misunderstood or asked to adapt to systems that do not reflect their ways of thinking, communicating, or processing the world. Over time, I have become especially drawn to creating space for more affirming, individualized approaches that honor neurodiversity rather than pathologize it. I am also deeply aware of how culture and identity intersect with neurodivergence, shaping how people experience diagnosis, support, and self-understanding. This work is meaningful to me because it allows me to support clients in making sense of themselves in a way that feels respectful, accurate, and empowering.
As a Latina clinician, I also hold a strong commitment to culturally responsive care and to honoring the ways identity, culture, and lived experience shape each person’s strengths and adaptations. I aim to create a space that feels respectful, grounded, and empowering. I want clients to feel seen in their full complexity and supported in realizing their potential.
