About
Hello! I am so glad that you’ve chosen Prosper Health to help you explore and learn about yourself. My name is Loretta. I am a licensed clinical psychologist living and working in Wisconsin (PsyPact licensure coming soon). As a neurodivergent individual, I strive to create a genuine and welcoming environment where you feel heard and respected throughout the evaluation process. My goal is to partner with you, helping you build resilience and uncover your strengths as we work through life’s challenges together. Every person’s journey is unique, and I’m committed to offering care that is as individual as you are.
As a neurodivergent woman myself, I bring a lived understanding to this work that no textbook can teach. My approach begins with the recognition that neurodivergence is not brokenness or an odd personality. An accurate diagnosis is often the first step toward repairing that narrative. From there, my work is rooted in identifying and building on your existing strengths rather than cataloging your deficits. As a Clinical Psychologist, I utilize an approach that includes active listening, validation of feelings, and space for you to be your authentic self. I meet you where you are, honor what has already carried you this far, and create an affirming space where you can begin to see yourself more clearly and fully.
My connection to neurodivergent clients is both personal and professional. Receiving my own AuDHD diagnosis later in life reframed decades of experiences I had long internalized as personal failures as the weird person. My diagnosis shifted something in me, which deepened my attunement to clients navigating similar revelations. Over time, I began seeing a meaningful increase in adults, or “The Lost Generation,” seeking a diagnosis or self-understanding as neurodivergent. Like me, you may be exhausted from years of masking and being overlooked. I believe neurodivergence isn't a deficit to be corrected but a different way of moving through a world that wasn't built with you in mind. This work is personal. I have seen the positive, healing shift that can occur for individuals when an accurate diagnosis is established, and I want to do my part to facilitate this for you.
