About
Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Liza Schejtman-Bach. I currently live in New Jersey and am licensed in New Jersey. I am passionate about supporting individuals on their journey toward greater well-being and self-understanding. As a clinician, I believe in creating a safe, compassionate environment/space where you feel truly heard and understood. My goal is to partner with you, helping you find resilience and uncover strengths as we work together through life’s challenges. Every person’s journey is unique, and I’m committed to offering care that is as individual as you are.
My motivation for working with autistic adults stems from having a neurodivergent adult child as well as being neurodivergent myself. I have a deep respect for neurodiversity and a passion for fostering a space where every individual feels valued and empowered. I am inspired by the strengths, perspectives, and resilience of the autistic community, and I strive to provide support that honors each person’s unique experiences. My goal is to help my clients navigate challenges, build on their strengths, and develop skills that enhance their daily lives and relationships. Together, we can work toward a life where you feel understood, supported, and able to thrive.
I prioritize an affirming and a strengths-based approach to ensure that every individual feels seen, valued, and empowered. I believe that each client possesses unique strengths and abilities that can be harnessed to navigate challenges and achieve personal goals. I actively listen to their experiences and validate their feelings, creating a safe space where they can express themselves authentically.
