About

Hello and welcome! I am glad you are here. My name is Lisa Hamilton Clark, and I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Gilbert. I am licensed in Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Mississippi and Connecticut. My professional background is rooted in providing compassionate, neurodivergent-affirming care that is tailored to each individual's unique life experiences. I am deeply passionate about partnering with neurodivergent individuals on their journey toward self-discovery, growth, and greater well-being. My ultimate goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where you feel genuinely heard, validated, and understood as we navigate life's challenges together. Whether you are adjusting to a new late-in-life diagnosis, managing sensory sensitivities, or navigating the overwhelming weight of autistic burnout, I am here to help you uncover your inherent strengths and build practical strategies for daily life. Every individual’s path is entirely distinct, and I am fully committed to delivering personalized care that honors and respects who you are.

Education & Licensure
Masters in Social Work from Arizona State University, Tempe; Bachelors in Psychology from Argosy University, Phoenix
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I chose to specialize in working with neurodivergent clients because I believe everyone deserves therapy that is truly affirming, rather than trying to change who they are. Autistic adults face unique modern challenges, from navigating workplace accommodations to managing sensory overload and recovering from chronic autistic burnout. My clinical approach focuses on meeting you exactly where you are without judgment. I view our therapeutic relationship as a collaborative partnership. We will work together to uncover systemic barriers, build practical coping strategies, improve communication, and protect your energy. My passion is helping you create a sustainable lifestyle that honors your neurotype and personal well-being.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I believe that each client possesses unique strengths and abilities that can be harnessed to navigate challenges and achieve personal goals. I actively listen to their experiences and validate their feelings, creating a safe space where they can express themselves authentically. My job is to walk alongside my clients on their journey and hold space for them.
